He/she will also oversee all production rental orders, expendable orders and vendor relations for the various assigned programs and productions as well as create lighting and event design for internal events, fundraisers and education events as needed.įive years of experience managing production for large-scale performances and/or events ability to design lights for small dance shows, event lighting and small music performances ability to lay a marley floor, handle and hang soft goods, rig booms and assist with best safety practices onstage.
He/she will create and maintain theatrical technical drawings and paperwork using Vectorworks and Lightwrite,oversee all technical components (lights, video, audio, scenic, and rigging) and direct technicians for all ICA shows.
The Production Manager is responsible for the ICA’s lighting system and equipment in the theater space. The Production Manager is also responsible for coordination of technical resources between events maintenance and operation of production equipment and equipment data bases working directly with artists to problem solve and trouble shoot serving as crew chief for selected events and overseeing the maintenance of the physical theater space and support spaces.
Reporting to the Director of Theater Operations, The Production Manager is responsible for assuring a successful pre-production, load in, show run and strike for all ICA programmed dance performances, CrashArts performances, music, educational and special events as assigned.
